The next Bitesize Birth is coming up on Wednesday 3rd May at 7.30pm BST on Zoom and we will be talking about Shoulder Dystocia. There are lots of images and videos for discussion and clear explanations of what shoulder dystocia is, what can be done to avoid it and how it can be resolved, with evidence based information and time for discussion of your recent experiences for reflection and shared learning. It's going to be a good one, so don't miss it and be sure to book! We will cover the following?

What is Shoulder Dystocia?

What increases/decreases the likelihood of it happening?

What can we do to reduce the likelihood of it occuring and to help resolve it if it does

What positions can help to resolve a dystocia and why and how they work

What methods are used in a medical and home birth setting to resolve dystocia and how do they work

Sharing of knowledge, wisdom and support
